"A-Tie $369A.JP is definitely one of the more unique businesses I’ve come across but also so Japanese.

They provide temple consulting services helping temple owners manage temples and graves. This includes construction, marketing/customer acquisition and after care/maintenance. Effectively it’s more or less a temple/grave maintenance service.

Impressive margins and growth (both >20%) massive tailwinds and Still a small base with plenty of temples who’s owners themselves are finding it difficult to manage due to succession problems. Apparently theres more than 76k temples which is more than convenience stores

Maybe we can call it TaaS - Temple as a Service. lol.

Valuation a little rich currently for my taste and feels to premature to have any kind of strong competitive advantage…
