"I am monitoring 6794 Foster Electric, a maker of audio & car speaker products. Their speaker technology is world-class, and is adopted in smart devices.
My thesis for this stock is twofold. First, it’s a value play. At the share price of 1542 yen as of July 4, the market cap is 38.6 bil yen while their net cash is 47 bil yen. (Note: I calculate balance sheet items in a particular way to compute “net cash”, as noted in japanguru.me site).
So basically Mr. Market is paying you to own this company, which has been consistently growing both topline…
This guy fantasizes that the "display-less Sam Altman - Johnny Ive AI device" will adopt Foster as OEM, sending Foster stock to the moon - which is not entirely crazy idea
