Nikkon engages in transportation, warehousing, and cargo packaging.

Originally founded in 1953 as a company to package Honda motorcycles in wooden crates.

Around 60% of the cargo handled is automotive-related, including Honda and Subaru four-wheel and two-wheel parts and completed vehicles.

The company is currently diversifying its cargo packaging reach to housing equipment, agricultural machinery, and general consumer goods.

The company has expanded its warehouses in response to business expansion. Since 1989, it has expanded overseas to nine countries, including the United States, Thailand, China, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In 2010, it became a subsidiary of Chuetsu Tech. It is also a "summer season stock" (a stock related to extreme heat), with beverage shipments increasing during extreme heat.

The company plans to pay total dividends of around 40% of net income for the current period.
